Norwegian Cruise Line's Encore Cruise Ship Overview

In November 2019, Norwegian's Encore, one of their newest ships, set sail for the first time. The ship can accommodate 3,998 passengers and 1,735 crew members in total. The longest racetrack at sea and a 10,000-square-foot outdoor laser tag arena set the standard for the Encore's onboard attractions. In the Galaxy Pavilion, passengers can enjoy virtual reality games and rides, and also have access to two aqua parks with waterslides, a pool, a spa, and a fitness center. With over a dozen bars and lounges on board, there are plenty of choices for nighttime entertainment. Various live musical acts, ranging from high-energy dance numbers to the Tony Award-winning Kinky Boots Broadway production are included.

There are five all-inclusive restaurants and nine specialty restaurants to choose from, ranging from casual American cuisine to fine dining from around the world. Coffee fans will appreciate the presence of a Starbucks on board. Visit the buffet or main dining rooms for a casual meal or treat yourself to an exquisite meal at Ocean Blue or The Chef's Table. The ship's alfresco steakhouse and Japanese hibachi restaurant are also upscale options as well as the brand-new Onda by Scarpetta.

There are plenty of adult-friendly hangouts onboard if you want to enjoy the nightlife while on your cruise. Choose your favorite wine selection in The Cellars, the best Mojito at sea from the Sugarcane Mojito Bar, or a comfortable chair in the Observation Lounge and enjoy the beauty of the panoramic view at sea.
